Does this Evo check out?
Okay. Well first I need someone to help me decide what to look for when i go see it. Can someone help me out with that?
Title is clear: I called the guy and he said that he put it under other title just to remind himself to talk about the odometer. The odometer problem was recorded and repaired correctly

look for body damage, interior, underhood, any major differences between it and stock anything and everything that might not appear stock, i dont know how hardcore you are on how stock it needs to be. also check the suspension, brakes, tires, all that good ****, have fun, good luck, and make sure you drive it!
Well I dont really care about it being stock, I just want to make sure after a week of driving it the damn wheel doesn't fall off.
Also I talked with the dealer and all the service records and paperwork for the mods have been kept and are available.

Drive it, Check all the fluids,
How does the tranny feel?
How does the clutch feel?
Take it on the highway does it track straight? Vibrate?Creak?Noises?
How are the brakes? Check the pads and faces of the rotors. Do they pulsate under hard braking?
How does it boost? Does it have a boost gauge?
If it was private you could talk the owner into a compression test.
Inspect the tires and wheels. How much tread is left? Any bends or scrapes on the rims?
Inspect under the car. Make the dealer put it on the lift. Is there anything scraped? bent? torn? broken? Leaking? Wet? Doesnt look right?
Inspect the body. How is the paint? Dings? Are all the panels straight and do they line up to one another?
Are there markings on the bumper, fender, door, hood, or trunk bolts signaling that they have been removed before
Its just stuff you need to do buying a used car. 100% used cars can be the best buy you can make. You can save tons of money in depreciation. You need to know what your looking at though
Even if you need to lay out a little green if you dont know cars I highly suggest that you bring somone with you that can do all of the above
