What The Hell!!!

Ok, So i was searching on the internet today and i came across a picture of an evo that looked just like mine, i clicked on the picture and much to my surprise it was my car. the company MotoringMax or www.ijdmtoy.com had taken my picture put their watermark on it and photochopped a stupid sticker on the window, further research showed that they had used another picture of my stock HID Lights and advertising them as their lights that they sell, is there anything i can do about this legally??

Here are the links:

If the pic was on internet without a copyright or anything the pic is free to use. The best thing to do in this case if it really bothers you just email them ask them to take down the pic because its digitally copyrighted.

Take it as a compliment.

Who's to stop someone from walking up to your car and taking a picture, and using that how they want as well?

You could try a Cease and Desist letter...

i do amateur photography, what they did is illegal. Write to them and ask them to take it down if not say you will pursue further legal action or come to a deal with you get some money out of it.

I would call them and tell them that you are going to sue them for false advertisement and your proof is that it's your car, but you would settle out of court for $xxxx

I know i won't buy anything from them, you would think they might actually have at least one customers car that wouldn't mind them using their car for a pic. Thats rediculous that they have to steal a pic off the internet and photoshop on a sticker!! hahahahahaha

they probably googled it :P you have to admit your ride is sweeeeet! and that is a great pic of it. I dont think they'd have a problem replacing the picture after seeing the list cars lined up... you could enjoy the fame, or try to give them a scare and have it removed.. your choice :P~~~~

Complaining here isn't going to do much. Have you contacted them yet?
