Talking I've got something in writing!!!

That's right....

I have a peice of paper saying that the dealer that I'm getting my Evo from will get their shipment of Evo VII's....I repeat Evo VII's in December 2002. This isn't some letter from one of the sales reps at the place. This is a letter from the Director of Regional operations and the Regional Sales Manager to the owner of Wayzata Mitsubishi.

I'll post the scan of it later on this evening.

Ya, I put a deposit down in December. Don't believe it's refundable.

I'm 5th on the list. And Wayzata Mitsubishi has taken so many deposits that they've just taken the last deposit where they can garauntee the customer will actually receice an Evo. I think they've taken like 15 deposits.

BIG MASSIVE THANKS to Wayzata Mitsubishi for being so help in this process....

I'm at work, but as soon as I get back I'll scan it and post it.

That sounds good Hoob, but non-refundable...I mean whose not to say they'll charge you over MSRP, or did you get that in writing too for MSRP only or money back?

Hooby, hurry up and post it already.

I was at Wayzata Mitsubishi the other day and they said that they were not taking deposits anymore. They also said there were only 7 or 8 people on list. Hmm...

EvoSouL, Wayzata only required a $500 deposit. Our contracts state that the car will be sold at MSRP. Here is Hooby's post about it:

Dangit...ya beat me to the link...

I talked to Troy and he said that the last guy/gal that got on the list was from Cali. and since none of the dealers in Cali. will sell for MSRP he/she bought his/hers from Wayzata Mitsu.

I'm assuming that this person is also on this forum, because I don't know how else he/she would've found out that Wayzata Mitsu. is selling for MSRP.

I am the Californian Troy mentioned to you on the Wayzata Evo waiting list. Troy said I am the last one that will be guaranteed an Evo. Just made it in nick of time. Before that, I called almost every Cali delaerships and nobody wanted to deal at MSRP. California Dealerships can take their cars and shove em up their A$$es. Oh well... At least I found a way. Thanks to you guys on this forum. I can't wait to get my onroad fighter jet. I wonder what the cops will think when these cars arrive? On the canyon passes, these cars will be a nightmare for them. I received the deposit receipt and MSRP confirmation already. I'll be looking for the delivery letter you have just received in my mailbox soon. A December delivery will be perfect for me. Let;s all keep the communications going about Wayzata. Who else is on the waiting list here?

It's so good to hear confirmation that it's on it's way! I'm still hoping for word in Canada, so if anybody hears anything, shout it from the roof!

Come on Hooby, show us something we don't already know.

j/k

Thanks for posting that Hooby. Hopefully Wayzata Mitsu doesn't have a problem with it.

Why does it have to be December? That's right during the heart of MN's winter with tons of snow, ice, sand, and LOTS and LOTS of the frickin SALT to eat away at my nice new finish. But I guess it's better than waitin till Spring 03. I think I'll have to buy snow tires before I even get the car. What about everyone else?
