Evo back to LIFE!!!!

Title says the story!!

I have been without a license for almost 16 months, to make a long story short i drove when it was suspended and added a year to the suspension wich came to 16 months....never DUI never arrested, just sped to much...

Anyway, i put the evo away and called it quits, just to many tickets and very unlucky timing. So after still looking at pictures on evom and seeing evos out on the roads, i am back in buinsness!!!

My suspension runs out May 26th 2008...it is the most exciting time of my life, a year and a half of no driving and staring at my car in the garage. And embarassment without being able to drive, my fiance has been amazing.

So took the evo to the shop and there are the new mods as follows....

Shep Race NEw tranny
Shep Race New transfer case
ACT clutch
ACT flywheel
Buschur Racing carbon lip
Fresh paint on the front rear bumpers, hood, 1/4 panels
NEw headlight bulbs
All fluids changed.

I cant believe i will be in the seat again soon, i go to Marco Island Florida for vacation may 20th to come home to a license and my newly redone Evo, will post pictures when its done!!!

Thanks and just wanted to share my story

Hopefully no more speeding my friend. I know how easy it is to get up in that monster. Be careful and get a radar. It may help you a few times. But radar is not to make you speed more, just to help you avoid in case you're going a little faster than you should. I feel you... 16 months w/out a license suck. I use to have a lot of speeding in the past but since I owned a Lexus for almost two years, my record has gone down and a little cleaner. When you drive a luxury car, you feel like a different person although it can speed too but you're less prone to speed than on an Evo. Good luck

Hah. I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps this would be a good time to think about how to make the car run slower - just to ensure you aren't tempted to get in trouble - at least for a while.

Maybe prop the wastegate open or reduce the boost or something.

Ahh well - just take it easy and enoy it.
