^^ Yo "letmein" I have to say I was a little jealous seeing you at the track with your little trailer and a 2nd set of wheels and what not on it. Like you Im in Brooklyn and cant have a truck and a trailer for transporting my things and car. Every day a trailer looks more and more logical. With a little trailer you can hall Track Wheels, All my tools, Jack, And extra fuel. Sounds good to me.

I saw a guy with this setup on his S2000 this weekend while at the NEDiv Championships. Great product, because with a few pins pulled, most of the weight comes right off the car for competition. I'd love to see something like this developed for the Evo.

If you are just interested in transporting tires/wheels for track days, is there anyway you can find something to throw a few on top of your car? The remaining one or two could be put in the trunk or rear seat pretty easily.

Throw one on the hood for good measure...

A tire trailer remains a smart and practical approach to this issue.

sorry Evos are bred from RALLY CARS. Towing looks dumb on them. unless you have a crossover, SUV, or a subaru stationwagon (theyre a little heavy dutier than most) you should not be towing ANYTHING with a car. all the excess weight moving will shock and cause stain on the drivetrain leading to problems

Do you think an S2000 is meant to tow? How about a Corvette? Or a GT40? Of course, if you participate in motorsports, you'd see a ton of sports cars towing tire trailers, etc. And yes, even Evos. At least with the Evo, you aren't dwarfed by the height of the clamshell trailer, like the GT40 was.

Thanks for posting the info and pics, Savaho.

So what? As long as you don't exceed the towing capacity of the vehicle, who cares what the origin or design of the car is. Actually, the "rally car" was bred from a base lancer.

Ever been to europe? Ever see camper trailers being towed by overstuffed 100hp sedans? Towing a tire trailer or a ski-doo is nothing for an EVO.

That's fine - to each his own.

I personally think the black evo towing a jet ski looks pretty cool!

The tongue weight on the jetski trailer is about 45-60lbs and the entire weight for everything around 970ish. Just don't tow anything over a thousand pounds and you should be ok.
