Anyone have a trailer hitch on their Evo?

I have a hitch on my Evo and a small Ebay Trailer with 12" wheels. The hitch I have there is nothing that has to be cut to get it fit.
I will post pictures for you tomorrow or wednesday. Its made by 1 of the members here on the forum, and its very nice.
I have a rollbar in the back so I can't carry tires inside my car. Buying a truck is out of the question as well since I live in Brooklyn, there is no way in hell I could find a spot to store the trailer. Buying a truck would not be a problem, but I would rather buy a small trailer and tow it with the Evo, and buy X as a daily driver rather than big truck.

I'm simply saying that if you're doing a lot of tracks days and such it would be easier to have another vehicle...

As long as you're not trying to go really fast with the trailer, it's not a problem at all. Autocross guys pull small trailers with their corvettes, miatas, M3s, and Evos all the time. If you can do it with a miata, you can certainly do it with a big Evo.

Soo, how are you going to pull the Evo behind the "beater" truck? Yup, gotta buy a trailer. Then you gotta make sure the "beater" is up to towing duty. Then you gotta find a place to store the "beater" and the trailer. Then you gotta insure all this stuff. All of a sudden you have $10-15k into this "beater" setup, and you still have to store it.
Listen, I already have my tire trailer. It works great. I used it with my porsche turbo and I'm going to use it with my Evo.
If you don't have something constructive to add to the thread, like where I can get a tow hitch, don't post.

I went to a custom welding shop here in tampa and got it done for about 250, I suggest just calling around asking who would make a custom hitch --- probably your best bet. Mine is 100% hidden when not in use... you can PM me with any questions.
Rallytrack Hitch
I bought my evo used with a RallyTrack Hitch already installed.
I haven't used it to tow anything, but You can barely see it on the car.
