random electical problems - turn signals, dash gauges, and windows dead

I have an 03 evo that was fine when I left for a vacation a week ago. When I started the car today I found that the turn signals, dash gauges, and windows were all non-functional.

everything else works fine.

any thoughts beyond checking fuses?

the emergency lights work just fine, so it's not bulbs. even the odometer is blank.

Sounds like you have the same problem a lot of other Evos on this forum have. Check your drivers side kick panel. Pull it off and check the two large white connectors behind it. If they are all corroded then there is your problem. Search around a little bit, there are several other threads with people having the same problem and how to fix it. Good luck.

thanks for the replies.. I took all of the connectors out and everything looks fine? no real signs of corrosion... but it might be something else.

update:

So I took it to the dealer after checking fuses etc... and it died in the service bay.

The alternator is done after some testing. They want $250 labor + $550 for a new part before we can even tell what else is damaged.

I'm having them do the labor, but I purchased a 180 amp upgraded model to replace the pathetic 90 amp factory part. My guess is that my audio system killed it off over time.

The upgraded part was only $399 shipped so obviously that's the better choice.

anyway, that's my fun for the day.
