Where to weld the WB O2 bung?

I've done some research but some weld theirs vertically about 2 inches away from the Cat and some weld it at 3 O'clock. I just want your confirmation that it's ok to weld it vertically about 2 to 3" away from the Cat on the DP. Thanks

You need to have it in the 3 O'clock position so condensation doesn't ruin the sensor and make sure it's before the cat as far upstream as you can.

2-3" from the cat on the dp is the perfect place for it. I welded mine at 12 o'clock. As long as you dont weld it lower than a 45 degree angle, you should be fine.

If my understanding is correct it needs to be at least 18" from the turbo and ideally no closer then 6" to the cat. Yes it can be anywhere from the 9 oclock to the 3 oclock position, do not mount it angled down because as previously stated, moisture will collect on it and ruin the sensor. Hope this helps.

Ok, some say 3 O'clock angle and others says Vertical which is on the top of the pipe like the one on the link provided. I'm thinking of doing that way too since there's more room for the O2 sensor. Any disagreement?

Mine is at the 12 o clock position - if you get a flashlight and look down between the firewall and intake manifold you can see the dp, that is where mine is mounted. Ran the wire up the firewall and into the car through the hole by the glovebox.

Ok, at 12 O'Clock it is that I'm going to mount my O2 sensor. Thanks for your help guys. Oh by the way, There's only 4 wires on the O2 sensor. Battery and Ground. The other two are for the Serial Output and Data Output. Do you guys get an RS232 connector and tap that two wire and connect to the computer to read data off from the O2 sensor?

12 o clock is fine.

Bosch recommends >=10*.

i mounted mine at -15*. condensation may shorten my sensor life.
