The thing here is that its possible. Why not just get a GT35 bolt it on and make 400 hp everyday.
The 1/4 is a diff story. There are so many variables to look at not just power.
I personally know a 10 sec STI and a potential 9 sec STI locally (to me).
Why do u need to a tranny upgrade? Evo trannies are known to go also, but i think it depends on how its treated. Not so much the power increase.
I suppose you can get an EVO around that price, prob cheaper (not sure what the going rate is).

, even at my power level most people have broke their trannies. I prefer to upgrade the tranny before it blows because at least I can sell it for something.
