pass time evo
I have to agree. Although the Evo is fun in the straight, but the car really comes to life in the twists and turn.
For the OP, that's the point of the show, regular joe's guessing the E.T. I've seen 4 EVO's so far...........the best guys are the country boys. That say "Yeah, all she's got is a little cam, some headwork, a stall, pretty basic" and it runs 10's.
The white 3rd gen that lifted 2 times going down the track and still ran a 10.03 was very impressive it was TT. The least impressive was some tard in a C6 that was converted to look like a Z06 the license plate said "9sec" and it ran 12.80's.
I like the show for what it is.

My trip with the Evo to the Tail of the Dragon last fall was one of the best times I've ever had.
True, the Evo can be fun in a straight line, but taking it through the twisties at speed makes you truly appreciate just what the car was engineered to do.
I like the show, its fun to see how you would do on the show. The two black evos that raced were pretty quick. One ran a 11.85 at 126 and the other ran a 12.22 at around 114. The faster one was an 05 but he said it was a 9 ?? He said he was running 30 couple lbs of boost and I'm sure it had a turbo upgrade but he didn't specify. The other was a stock turboed 06 9 SE with bolt ons and the boost cranked.
