Carbon Fiber License Panel... That fits?

So, you've read the title. I'm looking for a Carbon Fiber License Panel. The only catch is I want "good" fitment.
I tried the Tyrant Panel see: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=324532
That thread should illustrate my expectations.

Who has one that fits? And I'm not going to be interested in hearing from someone who thinks I shouldn't buy this aesthetic piece.

Pictures are a bonus.

Thanks,
Dave

My Carbign Craft panel fit very well, AFTER, I notched a bit of it out near the license plate screws....

I feel like a lot of the CF pieces requires some extra work to achieve a good fitment, but it was very minimal. I did read your thread and understand that you're unwilling to modify the part, which is perfectly reasonable. But, in that case, I'd recommend that you dump the idea of having any CF license plate panel...they all require some work to achieve a proper fit.

I was worried someone would say that. All these panels are $100 or more, seems like a panel that small and simple should at least fit really well at that price.

I wrote simple directions a while back for making them fit...I'll try to dig them up for you. A lot of CF parts don't have 100% fitment...I don't know enough about the process to be sure of the reason, but I know there's a lot of piece-to-piece variability and it can be tough to do an intricate mold... you need to cut out/widen the 'square' sections by the LP hardware to make the CF plates fit... I'm considering going a step further and riveting mine to the bumper (behind the plate) because I hate having to run foam tape to keep it from vibrating while the car idles.

It is sad that a $100 part doesn't fit well, but it's a fact of life with these small CF pieces...

This is why i got rid of mine. I literally had to heat up the sides of the panel with a hairdryer and bend it to mold into its spot better AND notch out some of the back of it where it would bolt up. Once you shape it perfectly you DONT need that much doublestick tape. I HATE **** that doesnt fit perfectly....im just **** like that.

Wow, so maybe the Tyrant piece I got wasn't that bad after all. I just assumed it was junk. Seems like it fit as bad as everyone else's. I wish that someone who make CF parts would read this!

This is a piece that I wish Rexpeed would make. Rexpeed makes excellent fitting parts, and it would be nice to see him make it in both weaves (1x1 as well as 2x2). Are you hearing this, Derek?

The first one I bought was a Carbign Craft. It didn't fit right, had to send it back (they reviewed the part and admitted that it was moulded too large and gave me credit, which I used to get their radiator shroud, which fit perfectly and is a beautiful piece).

I think I ordered my second license shroud from Lancershop (is that the Tyrant?) and it took some playing with (cutting, tape to make it fit but it's still got some areas that I don't like - edges that aren't too snug, not noticeable, but they bother me nonetheless. Makes you wonder why it's so hard for companies to make this part fit relatively snug.

I honestly was surprised that it could make it through quality control. You'd think someone would know the mold was bad.
