this guy needs help fast...

I unplugged the battery from my car for a few minutes. I connect the terminals back up the go to start the car and it will idle for a second then it will just die. I can give it gas and it won't shut off. I held the gas in for 20 minutes but the car still dies when I let go of the gas. Any ideas...

Give it a few. It will return to normal. I often forget about this when disconnecting power.

Keep it running with your foot till it gets warmed up (maybe this will help). Did you check to make sure the ECUflash tune is correct?

How do I check that. I didn't think disconnecting the battery will reset the ECU flash.

I have heard of people saying that if you disconnect your battery for a few minutes it can mess with your flash.

It's true that by removing the negative terminal for a few minutes and put it back on will reset the CEL light but not for good depends on what's wrong with it in the first place that trigger the CEL light. I'd say take it to AutoZone and have them pull the code for you for FREE! Good luck
