yeah my local mitsu here in Goshen, NY has only sold a total of 5! and 4 went to one buyer! i believe they still have 5 or 6 sitting then they just sold the 5th one! They got rid of the fair market value a long time ago and they are selling them for sticker. Yes I can get one for invoice but still evolutions are a no gain sale you make maybe 2g's! as a dealer depending

I still have yet to see one new X on the road. My local dealer (Concord Mitsubishi) has 24 of them still on their lot according to their internet site. They always want to know if I want to trade my IX in for a X. Not at those prices and all of them are marked up as well. I am warming up to the X but I am not getting rid of my IX.

Yea, around here I have seen actually 4 new STI hatchbacks the last 2 weeks (all different), and not a single Evo X. Hell, I have only seen a few new lancers period. It doesn't help the closest mitsu dealer is crap....

Probably doesn't help that gas prices are about to hit 4 bucks a gallon either. =(

You also have to take into account that this a new model..
the March 07- March 08 comaprison should be changed to when the Viii came out , or when the IX came out, to when the X came out.
Since it was a new model for both of those years here in the US..

would be more relevant in the stats.

Our dealerships around here are also packed full of X's I've seen a couple around.

I just got my stock IX with only 12K on it a few months ago after a lot of research and test driving so I'm not sure about the its better in every way. Might be more of an opinion. I felt the IX had way more punch and the suspension felt so much better. This is of course my opinion.
