what about VP C12 I have a barrel that I got free from a friend can I use this?

i run c12 often. Yes you can use but just as mentioned before unless you get tuned for it you will gain nothing by adding it. I have run about 30 gallons of c12 through and all my 02 and wideband sensor are still in great shape

As said many times get tuned on the fuel you want to race on, That is the only way to get the max benfit. VP has many blends of leaded and unleaded, up to 109 unleaded. I saw in an earlier post a mention of Q16, that in the tests I have seen and read on it is a great fuel for race only use..1 point lower then C16 but can make more power, cost less then vp import fuel.

understood but where I am from even though at the pump is rated 95+ we see more like 90 and you pick up some knock even though you get tuned. What I am thinking since the Octane is going to be higher and my car is JDM it should not pull so much timing therefore run better.
