The $50 Beatrush Under Panel

For months I've been looking for a used or reasonably priced beatrush under panel. Best I had found was $280 new locally. A bit steep when I consider that I could basically build one for half that. I've got all the machinery to build one but am just lazy.

As fate would have it, I came across 3 slightly damaged beatrush underpanels missing all the extras, diverters, bolts, neck panel, etc. After some calls, rally sport direct offered them to me for $150 shipped. Done!

We scavenged around the shop for scraps to complete portions of the kit, brackets, panels, diverters. And a couple of pop-rivets later we ended up with this:

This really worked out for my budget and laziness. I don't plan on using the tow-hook so we just capped the door. I'll get to the second section in a few weeks. We'll be customizing the other 2 for a legacy and a STi with Zerosports kit.

Im pretty sure that is only half of the panel. There is another piece that extends farther back.

As I said, I'm getting to it next week. I have some scrap aluminum lying around and a louver die. Thinking of actually doing a set of full flat bottom panels.

Yeah, I couldn't pass it up. Especially when the shipping cost was basically the same for one or all 3.

Looks good, I feel the same. I would never spend what they want for one when you could build it with ease for a 1/4 of the price.
