^ it seems that way since the driver in the IX looked to be observing the X for the first few laps then kinda punched it towards the last lap.

The XI could have passed the then 1,2,3,4,5,6 70 times!!!! X appears to be a slug in that comparison. you can see the IX driver lift a ton of times.

kick ***.. but really thats only one comparison.. for all we know the guy in the 9 is a better driver or knows the course better than the guy in the X..

I didnt even have to watch the race, just listening to them brake I already new they were evo's. Squeeky brakes FTR! (For The Recognition) lol

The X didnt look too bad at all. I still prefer the IX as the all time best looking though. I wonder if the Mitsubishi engineers even considered testing the X against the IX during the concept testing before production...

The IX had more power and better braking... makes sense for a lighter car... Very cool to watch! now put a VI.5 in there
