Median Age of the Evo Driver
im 18...and this is my second evo... i got my first one for my 17th birthday... then totaled it because i was a dumbass.... but bro! dont worry people are always going to talk... as long as you are happy then its all good!
Drive what you like. I bought mine new in 2003. Has 330 awh and 110,000 fun miles and still going strong. I'm 60 and wouldn't drive anything else. My kids are a little embarassed to drive with me but I just laugh at them.
I'll be 31 in a couple weeks and just recently bought my second one. I had a Evo 9 and sold it for a M3 and even after extensive mods I still couldn't quit thinking about my Evo. Soooo I sold the M and bought an Evo 8 and couldn't be happier. As a matter of fact I hardly drive my "daily driver" Mercedes C230 Kompressor it just sits in the garage. Haha you are never to old to enjoy what you drive.
I'm going to be 28 this year and I am kinda in the same situation. My car friends understand why I bought an evo, my other friends and relatives that are not into cars always ask why I didnt buy a mercedes or bmw. I have the car I want and I dont care about what they say.
about to be 25, still love it, and will always. If you're worried about a "professionalism looking car", which I can understand, just tell your coworkers to hop in the passenger seat and take them for a ride! or maybe just take the wing off.....
I'm 44. I can't say that my clients give a flying fruck about my Evo. The very few who asked about the car were genuinely interested. My family loves the car, although my wife is afraid to drive it. I've been a car guy since a very early age and no one in my personal acquaintance is ever surprised my my choice of vehicles. The SE is my second Evo and it's never leaving my possession.

I'm 35 and adore my evo despite the fact that my family disapproves, my wife is not a fan, and none of my friends appreciate it or even know what it is.
All I know is that none of that matters when I'm behind the wheel. I'll still be driving it when I'm in my 40's.
