Jet Hot Coating Questions, How long does it last?

Hey ya'll I have been thinking about getting my manifold, turbo hotside, and wastegate piping jet hot coated and I was just wondering how long the coating lasts for. Also, I was told not to coat the inside because eventually the coating might peel and the peelings could get send through the turbo and damage it. Just wondering ya'lls opinions about it. If I do it I might just do the outside, It might not decrease engine bay temps as much that way but it seems safer, and will look pretty good.

But just wanna know how long it lasts

thanks ya'll

A high quality coating should last the life of your vehicle and never flake off the interior. Granted that you stay within its temp. rating.

Tha'd be awesome, Hopefully it'll be high quality, I'm getting it done locally. But I plan on getting the 1700-2000 degree coating.

I was gonna say if you are doing that, you should check out PPI, they do an exchange program with swaintech coatings (known to be very very good if not the best coatings on the market) Or just hit up swaintech coatings, they even have coatings for the outside of your intake manifold that keep heat out and even pull heat out of the intake charge...

do ya'll think it would be bad to coat the inside of the manifold also? I've heard it can chip and damage the turbo

i would ask them if they will guarentee it not to flake off
that way if it does, you should have them foot the bill

as long as your in the temp, you shouldnt have a problem
