Wrecked the Evo...What should I do

PICTURES HAVE BEEN UPLOADED! I was on my way home from work, hit some water, and ended up going threw a fence and hit some trees. I called State Farm and having it towed to work tomorow. I will upload some pics in the morning. It destoyed the front bumper and hood, went down the passenger side, and up over the roof. Nothing is to terrible, but I am torn. It is prolly going to be over $10k in repairs. I work at a nice body shop, and I am woundering if i should put it back factory....or take this as a sign to go all out with it and buy another daily driver.
I am in need of some advise. Anybody got an idea!?

As long as you have insurance than I would say you have nothing to worry about. I would say get the car fixed if it is repairable and safe to drive after the repairs.

Depends how bad it is?
But i say go all out, go mental, shock and stun us all. Lower the roof an get rid of the back doors

I was thinking more along the line of track car. It is a 2004 with 33k miles. I was still able to drive it home which was about 4 miles.

Sorry to hear mate - post some pics and let's see the damage extend. How fast were you going to loose control in the rain? The Evos handle pretty well in all types of road conditions, so I'm surprised the car lost control. Worn out tyres perhaps?

Do the body work yourself then spend whats left over on parts.

I was going close to 60mph on a county rd and hit some stanging water passenger side tire just barely got off the road but it was a steep muddy ditch. and the tires are about 70%. I figured i would do the body work myself just trying to figure my path.

Get the insurance money and fix it yourself at a shop of your choice. Good luck and be glad that you are okay, which is more important

Glad you are ok. Sorry to hear about your Evo. Damn, that's 2 today, a friend of mine rolled his Evo early this morning, him and his girlfriend were unharmed. I havent seen the car yet but it's likely to be totalled.

I vote for keep the Evo as a DD. IMO, that's what it does best.

Your car might be totaled front end damage is a killer for an evo- I hit a 2 foot tall pine tree in winter, and I ended up with $8500 in damage.
