Find your way to the Drag forum below. Good job getting out to the track!

You're way low for your mods, but your driving wasn't bad for your first time. Your numbers have been achieved by some stock IXs and by some very lightly modded VIIIs.

I would say good numbers man. I'm a bit jealous because I haven't gotten to the track yet, but I'm going the 27th finally. Nervous as hell about how to launch and everything, but we will see!

RealistIC numbers would be 12.0-12.3 with trap speeds of 110-114.

Stock tires and stock suspension are normal. They don't negatively affect you. 7k is the correct shift point.

3388 is good, but 20psi is low. Are you sure that your boost spikes no higher than 20psi in any gear? It would make no sense to have all those mods but only run 20psi. Who is your tuner?

I don't think a goal of 12.4 is realistic unless the car suddenly gets faster. You have to realize that for a given trap speed, driving can only take you so far. If you start trapping 110, then you'd have a chance.

thats pretty good for your first time out. Remember though there are a lot of variables that factor into what times you run regardless of what your ideal times should be. Temp, humidity, barometer, wind, etc.. all come into play.

For his first time out, those numbers are pretty damn good.

you did great for your first time out. 1.7 - 60's are nothing to sneeze at. I think you just need a touch more boost, you could be running 24psi on pump if you're tuned correctly, and more seat time that should net you the times in my sig or better.

first off sorry for my spelling errors. second my boost spikes up to around 22-23 in third and forth but then drops off to around 20. I took my car to turbotrix to get it tuned there. Also when i pass the traps im at the very end of 4th should i be shifting to fifth? Would that get me a better trap speed or would it just slow down my momentum?

thanx for all your help

That means you are running 22psi, not 20. That's why I wanted to clarify.

No, you should not be shifting to 5th, and no, you are not at the very end of 4th. The very end of 4th would be 120mph trap speeds. You rev limit isn't until 7800rpm or so. You aren't near the point of shifting to 5th, so don't sweat it.

what should i shift at in 1st, 2nd and 3rd? I shift at 7k in each gear could that be why my trap speeds aren't as high as they should be?
