Go to a road course and watch a cobra and an evo run head to head and then make up your mind. For me it's all about turning, stopping and going.

 

Not the biggest mustang fan, but gotta give respect where respect is due. That's a bad pony...but it only has one trick. I love the fact that I can actually use the back seat, run 12's on a DD and get over 25mpg if I want. Those are my pro's on the EVO.

thank you guys for the great responses. but as far as a road course i no alot of you go to road courses and stuff, but for me to be 100% honest i dont care to much about handling, well of course i do but not as much as alota evo owners lol you do have a point thou a stang is garbage on a road cousre, but straigt line with exhaust a pulley and a tune your over 500hp! or close to it! idk yet thou i love my evo but i want my ole power now back

 

Oh please, help you with what? You obviously know about both cars, what they are capable of and it is purely down to your personal preference is all I was trying to say. Sure I could have said it nicer but, this has been discussed quite a few times already and you are asking an Evo forum which car to get.

There isn't any earth shattering revelations provided in any of the responses.

Cobra =fast in a straight line, easy to make pretty big power, handles decently.

Evo= reasonably fast when modded, makes good power but, not as linear as Cobra, good handling, AWD, usable backseat.
