Got my meth kit from 4WS today

Presently installing it but took a quick beer and grub break.

Detailed mod list? I'd like to do meth injection, but my tuner does not like it.

 

meth is the way to go...

 

Yeah I have the failsafe, its a Labonte ISG-10 kit.
But with a 1 gallon tank, running a M8 nozzle

I know some parts dont have anything to do with the power mods but you wanted detail

Last time I dyno'd it I didnt have the AMS FMIC and put down 338/332 on Fyne Tune's Dyno Jet

4WS is doing my tune and he put down some sick numbers on his IX with stock turbo, I think something to the tone of 43x or something, so i know what he is doing. I highly recommend him

 

Labonte makes a nice kit. Have had mine for the last month and enjoying every minute of it.

 

Aquamist baby! Well, trying to go 100% distilled water. Meth is a scarcity from where I am.

What are the best options for the meth kits without being cheap or going too far? What can one expect to spend?


Also I see that you have an aftermarket clutch. Is that pretty much mandatory once you are at the point of going with meth?

 

Prepare to have fun Always keep your eye on it though.

 

Definitely! Servicing and maintaing pump and looking at a/f ratio is a must with meth. Regardless of failsafe.

 

IMO if you have been reflashed you should upgrade your clutch. Stock clutch is garbage.

How often do you serivce it etc? Any rule of thumb on that? Like by gallons used?

I dont have a A/F ratio monitor, gotta get one asap

 

So.... Update....

I just got back from Ft.Lauderdale and I am now equipped with 10 Gallons of M1 Methanol.

Got done with the install at 3:30 today.
