does anyone know if mitsubishi or subaru visit these kinds of forums? cause i mean we see a lot of people complaining about the 2nd gear sucks *** for the evo, or the wrx(or sti) this and that you know. i mean if i owned one of these companies i would secretly visit these forums to see what people thought of my cars and what complaints they had so that the next version would be improved based on what the OWNERS want improved. so bascially...does anyone know if these companies visit forums like these? thanks
Yep, they practically monitor this place. I think they also keep in touch with our admin. I also believe that Subaru is in close touches with NASIOC. It's pretty obvious. Mitsubishi referred this site as a source of info in one of their meetings.

NASIOC is a HUGE resource for us Impreza owners, hopefully this board will continue to grow and reach a similar level for the Lancer/EVO community... from the little I've seen it's well on it's way. IMHO.

On the Dodge SRT-4 site they actually have some Daimler-Chrysler employees who host a forum about official announcements, etc. For example the DCX employees will announce new Mopar performance parts for the SRT.
Mitsubishi seems to be missing the boat when it comes to marketing to the performance enthusiast and building brand loyalty/image by teaming up with the premier Mitsubishi enthusast's internet site in the USA.
