My friend has a bby evolution 8 , and i was surprised that he didnt have 2step on his car, he never knew wat it was and thought i was lying cuz i thought that all evos came with factory two step , by the way he upgraded his clutch but he said he didnt have the 2step before either , alright thank you ,

 

no 2 step on the 8's

 

not unless he got a custom flash

 

the 2003-2004 do not have a 2-step but the 2005 do have a 2-step.

With a Flash you can set the rpm to anything you'd like.

all U.S. EVOs have a "2 step". I have an 03 and I have mine set to 4800

 

sorry whats a two step? im still evolving...

 

when u step on the gas with the clutch in it revs to the two step limit which can be set with a custom tune

this may sound krazy but dont you have to step on the gas with the clutch in when u want to take off right..... or do u just mean when u r about to race an u smash it

 

03's should have the 2step. i had flashed my friends evo 8 to adjust the new settings for it. it was set higher than the redline... (7906 stationary rev limit) redline was about ~7600. if i remember correctly the 2 step works a little different than my 9. in his 8 as long as the car was stationary with or without the clutch pressed it would go to the 2step once the car was moving it would rev up to the rev limit.
