I can't seem to tell the difference between the two? I am sorry for being such a noob, but I've been searching.

The searching function on evom sucks. it just shows broad old posts. Maybe my words might be board but I still cant seem to find my answer.

heres the jist of what I know:

Reflash:
They flash your ecu by mail-ins?

Tune:
They actually map out your car and tune it!

is reflash a tune or what?

and which one is better reflash or a tune?

or maybe do you need both?

Yes for last time I am a noob. I even googled it and jusst came up with like dynoflash, ecutek, or whatever.

 

Errr, a flash is a specific type of tune done directly to the programming of the stock ECU. A tune is just a generic term that includes all forms of tuning. Reflash does not mean mail-in.

 

ehh I am still quite confused.

So does a flash mess with the AFR? or is that the "basic tune" that mess with all that junk?
