OK....
So, I just bought/received a supposedly "new in box HKS 272 exhaust cam" from a member on EvoM.
First thing I see... is signs of use/wear on the lobes of the cam. Seems like minimal wear, however the seller stated "New in box on the thread"
Can anyone from the pictures I posted tell me if this is a REAL HKS 272 Exhaust cam for the Evo 8/9 (exhaust cam is same for both Evo 8 / 9).
Thank you in advance!

Holes in the cam

Number inscribed on the rear side of the cam shaft

Number 3 inscribed on the other side

bottom of the camshaft there is another number inscribed: 601061134

Front of the camshaft:

I'm at work and can't see the pictures, however if it is really an HKS cam then it would say HKS in big letters on the end closest to the cam gear threads. I have run several sets of used cams in my Evo and I have no problems with it. Just check for any unusual marks or damage. However if these where sold to you as "New in Box" I would ask for a refund and send them back unless you can agree to a partial refund from the seller.

If that's the case, that's hilarious... The stupid things people will do to make a buck.
