i would have called first then if prob not resolved posted second. it would be like someone calling your boss to fix a problem that you could have handled direct, doesn't look good on your part.

have full stage 1 with Buschur tune absolutely love it!!!!

+1 custom map tuning is miles ahead of "mail in" flashes.

Mail in flashes are pulled from a group of other flashes the tuner did and he just sends you his previous work. Every car is different.

IMO Mail in flashes take too long and are not custom enough.

GL finding your cars ECU... jesus christ, it's hard even typing that and its not my car, my ECU or even my money.

Regarding This Thread!

Unfortunately UPS has misplaced the ecu so it never made it to Al. I am the owner of DG Motors where this customers work is getting done. I purchased the Stage 1 from buschur racing as i always do since i am a vendor. I received all of the parts 3 days later. I shipped the ecu via UPS the very next day of the purchase. 3 days went by and i called Al on a Friday to see if he received the ecu. Al called me back Friday evening saying he did not have the ecu. I then waited till Monday to contact ups to ask them what is going on. It took ups a day to get back with me saying the ecu got lost. If i can not have this ecu back within a day or 2 i will be buying the customer a new computer so we can rectify the situation. I just got off the phone with Jon and made everything clear that this is NOT Buschur Racing or Al's fault. This is a simple mishap where ups misplaced jon's ecu and there is 800$ insurance on it so there is no worries.

I will say once again" Buschur Racing" and "Al from DynoFlash" is not liable for this. Ups misplaced the ecu and everything is getting taken care of.

The good news is that i had a spare ecu laying around to put into Jon's car so he could still drive it.

This statement is true some of the time I am sure depending on your tuner but just to clarify.... The flashes that come from Al for the BUSCHUR RACING staged upgrades were done here on our dyno with our parts. The tune that customers receive for our parts are as close as it could possibly be without having a tuner in the car and still even then you wouldnt benefit all too much.

These are not just a random flash with parts from here and there. They are specific to our packages.

What happens if it knocks? Every car is different.

Does the customer have to send his ECU back to Al again to try and hope it gets fixed by a different tune?

Jon have no worries. This is just one of the unfortunate times with business. The one to blame is UPS. You do have 800$ insurance on the ecu. I will do everything in my power to rectify this situation. I gave you the choice of having me take another stock ecu to my Mitsubishi dealer to have it flashed to your VIN# so we can send the ecu to Al. As i said earlier on the phone, i am sorry for the mishap and hope we can make a decision soon because there are some kick @ss Buschur parts sitting in my shop waiting to go on your car as we speak!

This isnt the thread for that discussion and to be quite honest after your thread the other night I honestly dont have anything to say to you anyway.
