Please take your questioning elsewhere. This thread was not started to ask about knock counts in mail-in-flashes.

This statement is true some of the time I am sure depending on your tuner but just to clarify.... The flashes that come from Al for the BUSCHUR RACING staged upgrades were done here on our dyno with our parts. The tune that customers receive for our parts are as close as it could possibly be without having a tuner in the car and still even then you wouldnt benefit all too much.

These are not just a random flash with parts from here and there. They are specific to our packages.
Im with you JRod. In no way was I knocking the tune or the parts. I was sure you guys did it off of many of your cars. I just wanted to get the word out there that stuff like this happens and mail in flashes are not as good as custom ones. The guy would benefit greatly from taking his car there or having Al at his location, but distance does play a factor and unfortunatly the guy is having issues due to either the mailing system or a hiccup in busy business.

Im sure he will be set straight but personally I will never send my ECU in for threads as such.

I didnt take it as a knock man. We're cool.

I just wanted to get that info out there so people know they arent getting just a generic flash when they purchase staged upgrades from Buschur Racing.

UPS found out your ECU was kick *** from DynoFlash, so they are testing it in their Hybrid vehicle and will have it to you shortly. The hour + on the phone is to buy some time while they work out a way to get the UPS truck down the track for faster delivery times:

lol wanted to inject some humor - hope you get your ECU back fast !

only problem with that is you'll need the immobilizer code of the original ECU, which is lost in transition. simply putting a replacement ECU in wont work unless you go to the mitsu dealer and have them flash it to the VIN number (with the correct immobilizer code).

I did that the day Jon brought the car to me He came to my shop and i switched ecu's for him and flashed it back to stock so he could drive the car while he waited on parts etc to arrive at my shop.

I will do the best i can when someone comes to me for work. I knew I would be sending the ecu out for the stage 1 flash so I gave him an ecu to use in the meantime so there would be no down time for his car.

Even though his original ecu is lost, Jon can still drive the car. Right now i have yet another ecu ready to go to Mitsubishi so it can get flashed to the VIN# so i can send it to Al. I will do the best i can out of any situation to satisfy a customer. Right now i am waiting on Jon's decision to tell me what to do.

Contact the vendor and ask them what is going on.
