AMS Dyno Vs. Buschur Dyno w/ Time Slips

THIS IS NOT A BASHING THREAD!! IF YOU CANT MAKE A COMMENT TOWARD MY QUESTION THEN DONT MAKE ONE AT ALL! ..............Thanks

My car made 502hp/403tq on C16 @ Buschur
My car made 511hp/426tq on E85 @ AMS

Im just looking at MPH.

Same track.....Same Conditions..... The only thing different is I launched on the C16, and just took off like from a stop light with the E85.

Ok... So I know Buschur has a Mustang Dyno and AMS has a Dyno Jet, but I would like to know how one shop says there Dyno reads low. When as I see it they look pretty even... Thanks

Umm, you're looking at two diff types of gas also. Was the boost the same for each one?

you made more power with e85 than you did with c16, so this is to show that buschur's dyno reads lower? Are you trying to show that they're about the same? Little confused.

Not sure what you're trying to show with the 14 flat time slip.

Do you have any clue to what the difference is in these fuels? And what was the boost levels?

Well my question is just how close are they and yes they where both at the same boost 32psi both runs. The time dosent matter to me as much as the MPH thats shows power in my book.

I take that back my car had the HKS DLI 2 on it with the C16 and stock ignition for E85.

And I guess a comparison of how well E85 dose.

So...did you fall asleep at the line while drag racing on the E-85 tune?

I don't understand the point of this thread. Are you trying to say that Buschur's Dyno
doesn't give lower numbers? Is this a science experiment? (lol) I think both these companies have more than proven themselves as pioneers for the Evo community. You can't go wrong with either company!!

There are too many variables in your comparison. Your running conditions weren't controlled. As you said, you even drove differently. It's pretty common knowledge at this point where dynos fall in terms of reading high or low. Do some research.

PS:

I've never drag raced but I can tell you those numbers should be a lot lower with the kind of power you're making.

damn, 127 out the back door on e85 is awesome.....

you need to learn how to launch...."i thought i was the only one who sucked at it......not only am i am member, but im the president of sucking @ launching my evo"....welcome to the club

btw ladies, it took him ~4.0 seconds to run the back half of the 1/4 for both runs, but with a higher top speed on e85??

as long as you enjoy your car, thats what matters

Still confused on what exactly you are trying to compare or prove? trying to compare that e85 is a good alternative to race fuel? or that youre proving that Buschurs dyno really does read low?
