well il be testing it in a few hours, im not expecting much accuracy out of it but we will see. im sure the acceleration G's and such may be close, but hp and 1/4 mile i dunno. one thing i notice that i dont like is that it seems like you have no choice but to do 1/4 mile runs, and it bases your time off that. no straight 3rd gear pull to measure hp. or no just 0-60 or anything like that. what if i dont want to launch my car everytime.

I assume that it has to be perfectly level in the car? Does it tell you to mount it to the dashboard or something? How are you supposed to hold it level and in place?

Even if it is off by a bit, its super convenient and really cool

I don't think it should be level, accelerometer should work either way. It's 3D i would imagine. You should be able to just throw it in the cup holder area and make sure it doesn't move is all.

it says in the app that you can place it in a cup holder at any angle from flat to straight up, as long as the back of the phone is facing towards the front of the car.

I would consider myself a Nerd and even I don't understand how this works. Anyone know if the GPS version of the Iphone is required? That would make sense to me.

i dont remember is face down is before or after face up. so if you did face up and then getting stuck on face down then thats the last step.
