Check it out - there is software out now for the iphone which promises to give accurate 0-60 times, 1/4 mile times, and even offers braking G's.

I doubt its accurate at all. Anyone care to try it first.
It's supposedly already in the app store although I haven't checked.

I highly doubt it's worth the money though, but that's just me.. Most reviews seem to love it and say it's almost as good as Gtech..

Gotta link? I checked apple.com yesterday and didn't see the app? For 13 bucks I'll try it. They say it is accurate to 1/10 of a second for the 1/4 and 1.5 mph. For not being a drag racer but curious to know, that is cheaper than going to a test n tune night.

it is out. its called dynolicious. i havent decided if i want to buy it yet or not. i wanna hear from more people first. i dont see how it could be accurate, all it is using is the acclerometer. i dont understand how readings from an accelerometer can give you accurate vehicle speeds and horsepower readings. but we will see.

My friend bought it... His GTO is running 12.2-12.5 usually... Iphones saying 12.7-12.9 which sounds about right since on the street he has a little less traction. I havent seen it in person yet to see how easy it is to play with.

Cheers!

wouldn't you need some type of mount to hold it to get accurate readings?

but thats how gtech pro and any other measurement device is going to do it.

ever play wii? accelerometers in the remote allow you to play golf and tennis etc... they are very accurate.
