Unhappy I want to drive my EVO!!!!

You may have read my previous post about trying to deny me warranty service on my transfer case due to a MBC (see warrany denial)....the good news is they are covering it after 6 WEEKS of arguing. Bad news..when they took apart the trans they looked at my clutch (600 miles since changed it) and they said it needs to be changed again. So I ordered a clutchmaster stage 1 from Vivid, It should be with me this week. That means AT LEAST another week without my car.

I bought the car the end of April and so far it has been in the shop for about 2 1/2 months!!!!!!!! I have actually put more miles on piece of crap loaner Daewoo's than I have my Evo since I bought it.

I am really sick of this...........

No wonder its next to impossible to get mitsu. to do any warantee work on the trannies.

If the work is done right, you should be good after this... If this clutch fries... no offense, but find someone who can show you how not to burn it up. Over 7k on my first clutch... removed the slave cylinder restrictor at less than 2k.

After the dealership installed my clutch they didn't service the differential right there was about 1/4th the fluid in there that there should have been hence the burnt diff...as far as the clutch I was still breaking in the new one and hadn't driven the car hard at all. The clutch hasn't actually gone out again they just said it looked bad and that it was a good idea to change it as long as the car was torn apart.

Does anyone know how to go about getting them to take the car back via Lemon Law?

1) If the dealer can't fix the same problem after 3 consecutive times.

2) If the car stays in the shop over 30 days.

As for actually proceeding with the Lemon Law I have no prior experience.

Get a stage 3 or 4 clutch masters. You will likely burn out a stage one. Get it right this time. Also do the clutch upgrades asap. I will in the near future. also i am having problem with 4th gear and rep coming out 5th of sept. Wish me luck.
