it does get freaking hot. i leave a cloth over it.

It's a little bit smaller knob, but at least twice as heavy as the MR knob..maybe more. I like it because I don't have to exert much force to shift and it fits my hand better.

It does get hotter than an SOB, being that it's steel, so I just cover the knob with my sunglasse's pouch during the summer.
