transponderless key immobilzing vehicle?
Been a while since Ive chimed in here, but I had to speak up. I had my dog chew apart the key on my 03....i tried the key, and surely enough the car started, but died after 10-15 seconds or less. Repeated attempts and it all did the same thing.
The reason I brought this up, is from my experience it sounds like there may be another gremlin running around there.
Of course, there is an isolated possibility that my car was a freak, or the Evo 9's are entirely different with their immobilizer systems.
Just to reiterate, Ive tried several transponderless keys for the sake of verifying that it would do the same thing and it always started right up but wouldnt stay running.
