attendant GAVE ME 3 GALLONS OF REGULAR

I told him to fill it up, he started using regular.
ended up getting 3 .11 gallons of 87, filled up the rest with 93.
should i be worried?
I'm gonna buy a 107 octane booster, in the mean time.

You should be fine without the octane booster, just stay out of boost untill you fill up next.

That would make me so mad. But I guess he was trying to do the right thing and save you a little money, probably thought it was just a lancer.

No worries, if the ECU sees knock it will just pull some timing, but my guess is the car will run perfectly with only 3 gallons of regular in there being diluted by 93 (remember, these cars were designed to run on 91).

They were designed to run on 93. Check your manual.

Mine clearly says 91 is acceptable. Minnesota doesn't even have 93.

they can run on 91... look how many are in CA

but not 87..... you just cant run that crappy fuel in your car. if you cant afford premium, then maybe you cant afford an evo (not directed to the OP)
