There were plenty to choose from two years ago when I bought mine, so I didn't have to wait more than a week.

I had to broaden my search to 700 miles on AutoTrader. Then my wife and I drove 650 miles to the otherside of New Orleans to buy my BBY. It was either that or drive to Denver for a WW which is the one I really wanted, however the Casino's where so much fun in La. and my wife is a crazy Texas Hold'em player. Overall it took me about 2 weeks of searching and 13 hours of driving each way!!

Buying a car isnt something you do everyday, take a trip and get what you want.

I searched for about 4 months and unfortunately, I'm very picky. Then finally, I found one, drove ~170 miles through flooded Chicago, and am the happy owner of a 9.

Just keep looking!

I wouldn't be afraid of miles. I have a friend that purchase an EVO9 the same time I did. He put 30k easy miles on his before I put half that on mine.

Just find the car you want for a good price.

mine's for sale

hi... mine's for sale if you're interested..

EVO IX MR SE 13,200miles. Graphite Grey. Original owner. ALL stock. Has NEVER been modified. Never had any paint work done. No dents or scratches. I put a clear bra (hood, bumper, fenders) on the car the same week i got it. Never been tracked / raced. Still has good tread life left on original Advan tires ( a testament to the pampering this car receives). The car is perfect both mechanically and aesthetically. Interior is excellent with no scratches / cracks on side bolsters of either passenger or driver's seat. Car always garaged and receives regular oil services. All documentation and service records included. Never had any issues with the car. Car is a weekend car. Sorry for the lack of pictures, but the car is looks exactly like what you would expect... a showroom condition 06 EVO IX MR SE. Best way to contact is via email: b.ting@sbcglobal.net

i checked auto trader within a 100 mile radius of san diego (where i reside) and i found the perfect IX SE. 9700 miles, completely stock, original tires and all the yada yada... anyways, if i didnt have to get rid of my truck so badly, id buy it in a heartbeat for the 26.5 or 27 he was asking for it. i dont need a 3rd car though, so i unless someone would want to buy my mitsu Raider, then im kinda stuck on having to go through a dealer to get rid of it the easy way. i dont mind though. south coast isnt that far from me. they ALWAYS have what people need. never fails.

South Coast has got to be the only place ive seen that doesnt look for the "newb" to get a sale. They dont need to give all the extras and mark up price. they give you whats best before you even ask them. next week when i get back from iraq, im all over another evo! (a IX that is)
