For one it sounds like you have a Walbro 255 in it which leads me to believe the ROM isn't stock. What is your launch control set at? Also, not all cams give the note posted above. It almost sounds like it might have a slight lope, if cams are causing that??? Pull your plugs and take a look along with finding a tactrix cable and looking at your ROM.

Also you wouldn't hear the lope as bad with a stock exhaust.

yeah ive been searching around and my rev limiter is set at like 6k rpm, 500 above what it should be. so next question is if i take the valve cover off how can i tell of the cams arent stock by just looking at it?

your rev limiter is supposed to be set at 5000 not 5500

well whatever it is its at 6k rpm right now. im starting to think this is not as stock as i thought it was. ive got aftermarket cam gears, possibly cams, and now im pretty sure my ecu map isnt stock cause my rev limiter is at 6k

It may be the angle but it looks like your cams are set on a +/- degree offset. It doesn't look like they are respectively at 0.

It could mean many things. One of which that your car may have had a bigger turbo on it at one time, or may still have one. Second is that you most definity have aftermarket cams. Adjusting your cam gear timing can change your power vs rpm range. You can adjust the timing to help spool a turbo and make power in the low end or make it so that you gain a lot of up top power. IMO I would have an experience EVO tech go over your hole car to make sure everthing is a 100% so nothing breaks. If you car was "put back to stock" the owner could have been careless.

Word of advice, start a thread with pics here asking who owned the car and maybe you'll turn up someone who can awnser your questions. The car was modded so the person was likely a member of the forum.

Could be tons of stuff now. Take a picture of the turbo for us.

How car savvy are you? Would you know an aftermarket downpipe or intercooler if you saw one?
