How long did it take you?

I know the mod bug never stops biting but I'm sure some of you guys have reached a stage where you are satisfied so my question to you is, How long did it take you to get your Evo the way you wanted it to be? Stories are welcome and if you like it stock then you can say 0 Days

I don't know anyone who has reached that stage yet! There is always something more to be had.

haha, just gonna say that. When the $$$ gets low its gets put on hold. But when you get more $$$ there is always something I want or want to replace, lol.

It took me about a year to get where I was contented with the EVO. I had done all the usual bolt-ons, including an IX turbo. I was a little disappointed in the power due to being limited to 91 octane. But I was content, as I had spent all of the money I was willing to spend and the remaining upgrade options were all too expensive.

This year, I discovered E85 was available not to far away. I decided I could support one last mod. Now I'm content both with the car and with the power output.

modding is never ending. Youre always going to want to go faster or handle better. its not the time it takes you to get to the level where your happy with your car's performance, but how much money you want to spend. $=hp and unless you have enough money to have your car built by AMS or Buschur then you may never be happy.
