I went through the same ****, and I cant imagine not having my evo. It took the better part of 2 years for me to get it put back together, but it was all worth it to hear it roar back to life. I kept the chunks of my block and what was left of the piston (nice keepsake). Hopefully you can find the patience to just let it sit until you have what you need.
On a lighter note, what I did to my evo today: oil, t-case, trans oil change; new oil drain gasket and bolts; new magnetic drain plugs; and lots of snowy doughnuts! Southern Oregon winters FTW!

Yesterday, Bilsteins and swifts to replace the s-tech I bought it with. Today i fixed sunroof, works for the first time in almost 3 years. Was told at 2 different shops that everything would have to be replaced. Fixed rear wiper, was told a simmilar story about a bad motor wiring ect. It was a loose nut and the wiper was 180 off. Got the valve cover off but a bum shoulder prevents me from getting the cam bolt off, it couldn't possibly be I'm not strong enough to get it off on my own. Also fixed the side bolstering on the driver's seat, just waiting for jb weld to cure. Tomorrow will be fuel pump, finish cams, maybe some clear coat on the brembos and wing, should prolly go Christmas shopping at some point too.

Yay! Just got it off jack stands in the shop. Fixed an exhaust leak. Had to cut off the heads of the bolts, but it was well worth replacing that rotted gasket with a fresh one from RallySport Direct. All fixed. Now on to my bad o2 sensor.

MrJuls: Why are you only running 21# of peak boost if you are injecting Water/Meth? In some Evo models 21# was the factory boost level or mighty close.

Good question. You know what,I just replaced my stock turbo because we couldn't get good power out of the car and eventually about two weeks ago the turbo went for good.

So after installing the new turbo I noticed the tune is way out,so we actually tuned the car on a stuffed turbo all along....

Need to change my signature...

O.K. Thanks I just wondered. My car has been parked for ages because I swapped the injectors and went to a larger turbo and haven't had a chance to get it reflashed yet, or even have the injectors re-scaled. Happy Holidays!

Yes the other day after the turbo install I took it for a drive and at half throttle I was already seeing 1.3 Bar boost. So I can't wait to see the difference, and I also installed a GReddy O2 Housing...

Thanks,to you too.
