Today I finally polished my hazy headlights, now they look brand spankin' new!

Also, used some Black Magic tire shine on my tires, looks like a new car now. Woot woot!

 

well.. it all depends. If you have a 9 mr, the fenders hood roof and trunk are aluminum, which is lighter than carbon fiber. So, if you wrap the, lets say, the fenders. You would only gain less than a pound from the film, which will still be lighter than carbon fiber. In that scenario, it would be better to wrap it carbon fiber versus buying the carbon fiber.

Finally got my Evo out of winter storage. Felt great to drive it again.

 

Big day of car stuff in general for me on the 7th...
Did a brake job on my father in law's car (Not an evo) then swapped out my sparkplugs, rewired my harness for my stereo and installed a Pioneer MVH-X360BT. Totally dig not having a CD player anymore!

 

Removed the emblem from my front bumper.. I think it looks pretty good.

 

Foam washed and did my first clay bar cleaning. Finished off with 'Serious Performance' detailer.

Was up till 4am installing bilsteins + swift sports. It definitely took me way longer than people said it would but I did it without help and had to run out a few times to get some tools..

It was the first time I used PB blaster and let me tell you that stuff is amazing! I had been using WD-40 on bolts on the bottom of the strut and they would not budge. I put some PB blaster on them, and 10 minutes later they were out

I pulled the cover off it and took it for a quick run to get lunch lol.

 

Buffed all the years of road haze off the headlights with toothpaste. Dramatic difference!
