Finally got around to building my mock up frame for the skid plate. Will skin it this weekend hopefully, then decide if I want to make a final one out of aluminum or just a more refined steel one. Depends on the weight and final design of course.



Threw some wax on it too. And got paid to do all of it. Sometimes I like when work is slow.

Are those really necessary? I know you just installed one so I'm not expecting you to say no lol but am I "missing the boat" by not using one?

If you have an aftermarket exhaust manifold, yes. Some of them will roast the cam sensor. Stock exhaust manifold, not really.

yeah my tubulars get really effing hot and the distance between them and the cam sensor is probably 2" at most

Decided to pay 500$ for a detail for the So Cal Mod.

Going to by a Rupes buffer and do it myself next time. Pay for itself after one detail.

She is clean. Couldn't look at it in the sun. Amazing how yellow the clear was. And I take care of it. Wash, clay wax and keep her in the garage.
