2026: What Did You Do To Your Evo Today?
well....
I kinda did a combo job of both, but could get it done in an hour. It is very easy to do. I had to run to Home Depot to get a pair of spring clip pliers. The spring clip you have to remove has very small holes, and the pliers I bough from Autozone did not fit. So with the right tools you can get it done very quickly.

I ripped off one of my wind deflectors after I realized I had left my keys in my car
Thankfully my window was open slightly and I was able to use the wind deflector to press the unlock button
That's good to hear!
I ordered a nice pair of channellock spring clip pliers a few weeks ago getting ready to do this, but haven't grown a pair yet to go through with it

I bought the exact same pliers that are in the how-to from Home Depot. No, Lowes did not have the right ones

The usual things you do with an Evo, drove to get cat food and groceries. On the way home I experienced the Mother of All Ricer Flybys, performed by a family from the subcontinent in a Nissan maxima.
Had a large batch of goodies arrive today!
Hallman Pro RX Manual Boost Controller
Double Pillar Pod
Boost Gauge
Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge
Ralliart CF Gear Knob
Ralliart CF Handbrake Handle
Weapon R Intake Manifold
Just need to get home from work and fit now!

On a different note, I curbed a wheel slightly while pulling into a small parking area. Only the second time I have ever curbed a wheel. I also let a female friend drive it, first time she has ever driven an Evo
and it was funny to see her face when the boost started to climb.

Not Evo related but I bought a motorcycle over the weekend as well.
That's hilarious!

What motorcycle did you buy? I got my permit again after letting it expire 5 years ago. I'm going to be taking the training course and hopefully getting my license. I was originally thinking of getting a supermoto or a 300cc supersport, but I don't think I'll be happy without a 600cc supersport
Just a friendly advisor to......keep an eye on that intake manifold ( high boost equals manifold explosion)
And prepare for cursing!
Either port yours.....or go Magnus or AMS
A ported stock manifold is good for high hp if your on a budget
