Got a used 6 speed shipped to Jacks. Not full race unit for this one, just some upgrades and gear treatments on stock build. Stuff only getting more expensive so gathering built driveline components now. Besides, my trans gettin' poppy from 1st.
I test fitted the car onto the new trailer. Looks like I'll need to remove the winch after bringing the car up, so I can get the it further forward.
T minus seven days to vindication at Laguna Seca.
I have a work mate that will be there, as well, w/his Supra thing
I'm still working on a Supra. I'm looking at one this Sat, in Salinas, since I'll be there. 2021 with 1921 miles. Crazy how many are for sale with basically no mileage on them. I'm wondering if they will be cheaper once 6spds are avail.

Certainly understand, but would hate to see you move away from the EvO, but the commitment to the CT9A is moving into a new phase of ownership (parts cost & avail, vintage type designation, dated technology, etc)

So good! The Evo still hasn't sold? Are you still selling it?
Did my 1000 mile oil change and rear diff LSD oil change over the weekend. Engine oil was the break in oil that DBtrans initially filled when building the motor, they said with the extended volume oil pan that it took almost 7qts. When I changed out the oil and filter it took only 6qts, so I suspect the rest is circulating in the oil cooler. I also noticed that the oil cooler lines were rubbing slightly on the larger oil pan so I cut up some rubber couplers I had laying around and zip tied them around.
In addition to the oil changes I was able to pickup some bnib super old deadstock Okada Projects coil packs for a great deal.
Rear diff oil was a solid grey color haha, so it was in desperate need of changing (Kaaz recommends to do a oil change after the first initial 1000 miles). I also put the Kaaz part# sticker on the rear diff for future identification.
