I saved this one just for you. just get some donor plastic and add the tape to fill. I have a SPAL with OE shroud and FP intake tube. my upper IC tube is not bolted after installing the ETS IC. Those would be the variables i guess. the shortest distance to the frame is 9". the highest vertically is 10". I initially had it up to the fender but cut it for now.

Gloss black looks great on the Silver, I've been thinking of powder coating my Advans black or formula silver. Here is a pic of my EVO 9 in the pits at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Just about anything > black, IMO. Even OEM is doing black. It's sooooooo common now. Plus you lose all the detail of a really nice wheel. That car looks great!

At slightly more then 200k km (about 125k miles) had ma tuner replace the transmission synchs with carbon ones from Shyncrotech and put an new ATS twin clutch with light flywheel in. As we were at it also replaced the original s-way bars with Whiteline ones.

Pushed my V outside today, hopefully have the Excedy clutch and other small items in soon. Hope to maybe have it going this summer?

I plan to send it stateside next year when it's legal, who knows may fall in love with it....

I’ll think on it

the V is pretty nice. If I sold it I’d spend a bit more and get into a TME

I drove it for the first time in forever. It's been sitting under my back patio cover for the last few months. Can't wait to sell my other car and get this one back on track.

Well done Jason. Mine is a garage queen but have been driving it a bit more on the weekends. Been takin the Wife out in it & she likes it (she doesn't notice the 91 vs E85 tune). Im down approx 80 whp on the 91

Hey, is the EvO more of a keeper now? You tried pretty hard to sell it & sort of glad it didnt sell

I tried to get pump gas into mine before parking it. Got it to 40%. I guess better than nothing LOL. It's still pretty quick, even with the scaling and about 18psi. But we definitely feel it, don't we?
As for selling... I've been on the fence forever. I tried dialing back the "race car" stuff and bought the R so I could have a comfortable car that I could take to the track and possibly go faster in. After trying that and not liking it, I'm 99% sure I want to keep the Evo. I think I'll try a Supra next. If I don't like that better than the Evo, that'll make it 100%.
I still plan to get uprights from Dallas, order one of those fancy oil pans, and cut my splitter. So maybe I'm more committed than I'm willing to admit

What's up with gas in California? Is 93 not available? reading Merlin's tuning guide keep seeing a lot about 91, or current CA evos with tune stats on 91 octane. Rarely a mention of 93.
