Newest, cleanest, lowest mileage IX SE or regular IX money could buy, no MR for me, ever. They're the grandma's Evo. The X MR proves it.

I'd buy exactly what I bought all over again: WW '06 Evo IX GSR.

I would probably have skipped the GM BCS, cams, and larger fuel injectors though and just gone with a MBC, aftermarket FMIC, and live happily with maxed out stock injectors.

bought mine a year and a half ago brand new.. black evo 9 se.. with 6 year bumper to bumper, and 10 year powertrain warrantee... and it's still completely stock.. =) save for the swift springs.. but yea.. i would do the exact same thing all over again..

When I got my GG IX MR...ONLY thing I would've done differently is looked for white. At the time I didn't think GG was as popular as it is now. lol

But that car is sold... I now own an Evo VIII aka the "green beast." And there is absolutely NOTHING...well maybe some longer gears.

No. I was unaware of what i would be getting into with a used Evo. I didn't have EvoM at my fingertips, and i was an anxious buyer. I bought the first and only used Evo in the my state at the time. I regret it quite frequently, and do wish i could go back.
