My Delimma

Well, I've finally got the deal I can be comfortable with. After putting some tool of a salesman in his place for trying to fluff me with numbers and bogus add ons, a dealership in South Carolina has offered me a White Evo w/High Wing (no roof) for 27,979 out the door.

My delimma comes here. There's also a guy selling a used Evo (not the color I wanted, silver, but has a sunroof (which I don't care about either way)) for 26,500. It has 1300 miles and has had window tint added. He's selling because he liked the V8 torque of his C5, although he admitted the Evo was faster

So, which way would you go? New or used? 1300 miles isn't that much, but then again, White is da'**** when it comes to the color of the car (my opinion).

Get what you want. There not a big difference in price. You can look at like this also, $1400.00 = a full turbo-back exhaust, MBC, drop in K&N filter, 3 times on the Dyno, and you should have enough to get the exhaust install.
The other way get what you want, you got to like what you're getting.

i'd definitely go with new, especially with the evo. he could be trying to sell you a lemon, and you don't want to deal with that.

if nothing else, do it for the smell.

New is the way to go, especially for that price. That is a great deal.

It's a good thing it's not your "Dilemma"

Go with the new car; that's a great price and you can trust it was broken in correctly.

haggle the guy down on the used price
sounds like money might not be that much of an issue for him anyways.

don't cars depreciate some ungoddly amount as soon as they leave the lot? like 20%... offer him $22k or $23k
