okay you say stock....now what are the differences between Stock Flywheel and Gruppe-S/ ACT Street Lite Flywheel???
Stock i think is 13.9 lbs, Gruppe-S is 13.0 lbs, ACT Streetlite 13.1 Lbs.
is there any advantage besides weight? maybe the material? heat resistance? anything?

if your numbers are correct, it would seem that the difference is .9, and .8 lbs, respectively.
What you must be a kid too
You people cease to amaze me.
Oh and putting something on you CC and paying it off in full the min the bill comes in shows the CC company nothing. That isnt how you build credit. Read up guys its not rocket science.
Oh and yes its APR not MPR

hmmm...does gruppe-s have 2 different ones? bc i PM'd them yesterday bc on there sire under Evo>transmission>clutches page it says 13 lbs and when you click on the picture a bigger pic and description comes up and it says their flywheels weighs 15lbs...so i was confused and asked them and they said 13 lbs......are there any negatives for having a lighter flywheel? easier to stall? phantom knock anything?
Nah never had any phantom knock problems. I bought the flywheel in a package from Gruppe S two years ago. It was certainly 10.5 lb. Not sure if they have changed thier weights since then.
No stalling issues related to the flywheel the only thing is you need to give it a little more rev taking off. A resurfaced stock flywheel is just fine though too.

dont get an ACT clutch. that was the worst mistake i ever made with my evo. i have very bad lockout at high rpms.
just save enough money for a Excedy twin disc. you wont regret it. do it once, do it right

stock flywheel is horrible. it retains way to much heat and cant disapate it fast enough. this will cause the flywheel to blue and your clutch to slip.
if you like to launch, get something other then steel. aluminum disapates heat very well. i love my fidanza flywheel. i can do launch after launch and never have i had a problem. even after slipping it pretty bad.

Were you the first owner of this car? Please tell me you weren't. Because I had 280 whp-ish and the stock clutch was still super strong at 53k miles when I sold the car, and that's with TONS of track racing. Sad if you're the only owner that it could've been avoided by proper driving techniques, especially if you don't plan on adding much more hp...
First, I have to laugh at you for saying "you people cease to amaze me" so...
Second, I have to agree completely with you. Except for the whole "skyrocket" thing. It may not be rocket science, but it is far more complicated than "put money on card, pay card" in order to actually skyrocket your credit. People don't get in the 800s just by doing what you said. But this isn't a thread about credit anyway.
