Evo windshield is 3lbs lighter, and you probably will have to buy it through a dealer. $$$$

I just replaced mine with a regular lancer windshield. If you call LOCAL shops you should be able to get a price under $200 installed.

I have also have my windshield replaced with a regular Lancer windshield in the past. They are less expensive and just a little bit heavier. I would definitely suggest going with the Lancer windshield for those reasons and also because they are thicker which means better protection against possible future cracks.

By the way, who did you go through to have your windshield replaced? I just happened to get another rock chip last week.
