Question What to sell a used evo FMIC for???

Hi guys,

I'm looking to upgrade my stock FMIC to either the AMS, Buschur, or HKS when it becomes avail, and I have someone that is interested in purchasing my stock intercooler. So, I was wondering what you think is a fair price for our stock FMIC? He has offered me $200-250 but this sounds low to me.

What company makes our stock FMIC and what are the specs? What would the price for one these be new?

Mine is approx 4-5 months old and in excellent condition ... a few of the fins are bent but nothing major and I'm sure they could easily be bent back out.

Any help would be appreciated -- thanks!

I would ask 350-400, our stock unit isn't bad at all and the best replacements are going to cost over 800 brand new.

When I got my own AMS FMIC, I sold my stock one for $400 to a 2G Eclipse guy that was setting up a 20G kit on his car..

Let me know when you're ready to step up to the AMS FMIC and I'll take care of you!

When I got mine at AMS, I traded it along with stock wheels and my friend's AVCR for a complete NOS kit.

no dyno sheet yet but minus the nitrous, probably around 350 at the front wheels up from 255whp. Hopefully over 400 with the stroker kit and nitrous. Last time w/o the cams and new FMIC, i pulled 325whp.

How do you like the XS RFL?? I was thinking of changing to it!
I am not sure though. Are you having the venting issues? Well a better question would be are you venting to the atmosphere? Is it pretty damn LOUD???

Jeff, I wouldn't take anything less that 400... But I would set the price higher to start....

I agree with Jonasan50, people with 2G eclipses pay 800 to 1500 for FMICs so any DSM, etc owner will think 400 is a deal!
