Bov

I have read a lot of posts stating that they have a MR or a JDM BOV compared to an aftermarket BOV. What makes them so good? I have a greddy BOV and i did the spring mod that evomoto said to do and it works good.

Is there any plus to change BOV???

not unless you want a different sound, honestly you wont need to change it till your making alot of horsepower, or running an insane amount of boost

If you do not care about the sound, the stock IX bov is the best bov if your not pushing a lot of psi.

I am one of the persons who want the bov sound, im just that cool. So I went full VTA with a tial bov.. car bucks like ****, wouldnt recommend it. I orded a turbo smart dual port, and waiting for it to get here. If that is no better, i will be going back to stock.

I have a hks ssqv on my eclipse, a rfl and the stock 9mr. I've also had a greddy type s. The stock evo is the quietest and the rfl is really F****** loud! The type s is pry my second favorite. I would say its about sound, some flutter more under low loads, which means back spool, mostly I woldn't worry too much ith our cars since we run a decent amount of boost stock.
